American Electric Power (AEP)

AEP ranks among the nation's largest generators of electricity, owning nearly 38,000 megawatts of generating capacity in the U.S. AEP also owns the nation's largest electricity transmission system, a nearly 39,000-mile network that includes more 765 kilovolt extra-high voltage transmission lines than all other U.S. transmission systems combined. AEP's transmission system directly or indirectly serves about 10 percent of the electricity demand in the Eastern Interconnection. AEP's headquarters are in Columbus, Ohio.

American Power Conversion (APC)

APC provides industry leading product, software and systems for home, office, data center and factory floor applications. APC solutions include uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), precision cooling units, racks, physical security and design and management software, including APC's InfraStruXure® architecture the industry’s most comprehensive integrated power, cooling, and management solution. Additionally, APC has recently introduced a web-based application called APC Tradeoff Tools. It is designed for use in the early stages of data center concept and design development.

Ohio Energy Office

The Ohio Energy Office (OEO) works with individuals, communities, non-profit organizations, businesses large and small, industry, and other government agencies to achieve its vision, a robust economy supported by multiple energy sources, energy efficiency, and advanced technology with added value for the quality of life for all Ohioans.

Platform Lab

Platform Lab is the nation’s only state-funded IT test & training facility; they provide a competitive advantage to their clients by offering short term physical or remote access to IT hardware, software and massive bandwidth for all types of companies for the explicit purpose of IT testing and projects.

Platform Lab is headquartered in Columbus, OH, with branches in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Toledo. They are funded by the Ohio Department of Development with the directive to provide a competitive advantage for firms and organizations that seek rapid, custom testing solutions requiring key IT hardware, software, massive bandwidth and setup at minimal cost.

Currently, Platform Lab serves a broad range of over 153 clients including hospitals, insurance/financial institutions, large retailers, software development shops, state departments and IT consulting firms.
